The Revvo Caster Company, Inc., West Seneca, New York announces the introduction of its new range of stainless steel casters to prevent corrosion under conditions where there is exposure to moisture, cleaning agents, steam, and caustic or corrosive chemicals. Typical applications include medical and other institutional facilities as well as food, pharmaceutical and chemical processing plants.
According to Revvo, the new casters are manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel and are available with either nylon wheels or "Performa Protect" antimicrobial wheels to help control bacteria, molds, mildew, fungi, and odors. Designed for quiet operation, Performa Protect wheels feature gray non-marking, soft-tread tires that last the functional life of the product and reduce wheel decay and deterioration, resist color fading, and prevent vibration and shock to delicate instrumentation and equipment.
New Revvo stainless steel casters are fitted with ball journal bearings and come in three sizes: 3-9/64" wheel diameter (4-1/4" overall height) with a 220-lb. load rating; 4" diameter (5" height) with a 330-lb. load rating; and 5" diameter (6-1/8" height) with a 660-lb. load rating.
Revvo states that the new stainless steel casters are available in bolt-hole and top plate swivel models fitted with a double ball bearing, and sealed top plate swivel and rigid models. Swivel models are also available with a foot-operated wheel brake. Stem casters accommodate a 12mm bolt.
