Helmets are Solar-Powered and Fully-loaded with Features, Ideal for Demanding Work Environments
Cleveland - Lincoln Electric has introduced its new Viking™ auto-darkening welding helmets. These helmets are light weight, fully-loaded with features and rugged enough for the most demanding work environments. The Viking is designed to handle applications in almost any industry, including metal fabrication, maintenance and repair, auto body work, farm and small shop.
This helmet is overall lighter than most auto-darkening welding helmets, weighing less than 18.5 ounces. Its solar-powered system makes it unnecessary to remember to switch a power control on or off or replace batteries. The Viking also features a sizable 96 x 47 mm viewing area, external continuously variable control for shade (shades 9-13) and a grind mode, variable sensitivity and variable delay, allowing users to dial in their preference for each application.
The helmets also feature rugged headgear with a soft, absorbent sweatband and magnifying lens capability for experienced welders with less than perfect vision.
Viking helmets are available in traditional black or with unique Tribal™ graphics. They are intended for all welding processes, including, stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored.
Lincoln Electric's Viking auto-darkening helmets are available at local welding distributors. Or visit www.lincolnelectric.com to obtain Bulletin 12.207.1 to learn more.
